This calculator does a simplistic calculation for the cost of a lead – essentially summing your marketing costs and dividing them by the number of leads.

Importantly, we're treating 'lead' and 'customer' interchangeably here, although they may not be. For marketing and sales purposes, a lead is more of an opportunity (i.e. not closed). The metric calculation, however, is essentially the same – marketing expenses, divided by the result (number of leads).
